At Roger Neilson House (RNH) we recognize that the grief of losing a child is a lifelong experience. We are offering this monthly group for parents to support one another through their grief experience. This group is facilitated by Social Work, and can be attended by any bereaved parent who has previously participated in RNH programming. When at the group, parents can expect a safe space to share their experience with others who understand, and an opportunity to develop friendships. Some sessions may include a specific topic or guest speaker.
Group will begin with information shared about coping with the holidays; followed by facilitated discussion between participants
Includes: coping with the holidays; managing expectations, connecting with your child, supporting young grievers and legacy of your own child who has died.
RSVP: by noon the FRIDAY before group. (Space is limited so be sure to RSVP ahead of time to reserve your spot.)
Please follow current RNH screening protocols
Please contact Social Worker Sarah Allan-Wiseman with any questions: email@example.com
