Today the Ottawa Senators Foundation (OSF) made an announcement regarding the expiration of their agreement with Capital Sports & Entertainment Inc. (the Senators Hockey Club) effective July 31, 2020. The full news release can be read here.
OSF has committed to fulfill their current obligations to organizations like Roger Neilson House, for 2020/21.
RNH has received reassurance from Kevin Keohane, CEO of the CHEO Foundation, of their continued and strong commitment to supporting RNH.
While RNH does rely on support from OSF it is not our sole source of funding. Our main sources of funding come from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, and other sources including donations from the community, that we so deeply appreciate.
We are grateful to the Ottawa Senators Foundation and Senators Hockey Club for their years of support to palliative care children and their families.
We are confident that we remain in a stable position, and will be able to continue to provide all of our programs and services for families in need in our community, today, tomorrow and for many years to come.
